so for all of the great stuff apple does with UI, sometimes they just do dumb things. like animating the stripes on the progress bar to perpetually move backwards.

why in the world would anything think this was a good idea? so that if my download lags i can give myself a headache trying to figure out if that bar is moving a few pixels or not? so that it looks like it’s moving faster? wtf?

Writer, the Internet Typewriter: Yes, there are tools like Google’s Documents and Adobe’s Acrobat Buzzword… but sometimes, something clean and simple just works. Maybe not for you, or even me… but someone. I prefer using desktop app versions of “distraction-free” writers, but this is worth a look, regardless.
