Sweet, inexpensive fountain pen…. would definitely like to try these babies out sometime soon. New to the art of writing? You could get yourself one of these and a Platinum Preppy Fountain Pen and some Clairefontaine paper (or a Moleskine will work just fine).
I don’t know if you’ve heard of this service yet… it’s a cool microblog, offering writing prompts… reminds me of Livejournal’s “writer’s block” stimulator questions. I doubt that this service will replace anyone’s main blog or Twitter, but it’s networked and fun.

Yes, there are tools like Google’s Documents and Adobe’s Acrobat Buzzword… but sometimes, something clean and simple just works. Maybe not for you, or even me… but someone. I prefer using desktop app versions of “distraction-free” writers, but this is worth a look, regardless.
